Welcome to my office

I am an integrative trained counsellor and psychotherapist and hypnotherapist based in Essex.

I have always had a passion for understanding people and listening. My many life experiences such as being a single mum, going through a difficult divorce, disconnection from parents and suffering from anxiety and much more have given me the ability to understand lots of issues.

Life can be tough going and some of us have experienced far more than we possibly should have but it is my life experiences that give me the confidence to allow my clients a safe and non-judgmental space to explore and challenge thoughts and feelings.

I used to be such a worrier and overthinker that it impacted my life in many ways, add perfection and feelings of not being good enough to the mix and it all becomes very messy and confusing.

Therapy helped me in ways I never imagined and has also made me a better counsellor as I have been where you are now and wondering if I could be helped or if I even needed help.

There was no quick fix for my story but I did quickly realise that I could fix myself and that would be ongoing for some time and I can honestly say that finding my counsellor was life-changing for me

EFT Certified Practitioner

I’m a certified Emotional Freedom Therapy (EFT) practitioner, offering this service as a standalone treatment or within existing therapy session. EFT is often described  as the tapping technique, which is useful for treating anxiety, phobias, fears, cravings, confidence and many other issues. 

Online and Telephone Counselling

Using a video conferencing platform (Zoom), I offer online therapy and have received additional training in this area. 

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is brought on by the use of the hynotherapists voice and words. You are unlikely to feel you are ‘hypnotised’ as there is no such feeling. Some people feel more alert than usual. You are in control the entire time and you cannot be foreced or manipulated in any way.

You are conscious, awake, aware and in control. You will be aware of your surroundings and remember everything that was said.

Hyposnosis is a natural thing, a relaxed and comfortable state. It is a reliable and safe form of therapy that dates back centuries and today is used as an alternative to help with many forms of healing and pain.

The Main Cause of Relationship Problems

In general, poor communication is the main factor that causes issues in relationships. Many claim they struggle with a feeling of not being listened to, or that their partner doesn’t take time to understand what they are saying. It’s also very common for the same topics to provoke arguments and blame without a solution being found so couples find themselves going round and round in circles.

Through gentle questioning, the sessions will help you explore the underlying issues in order for you to both achieve a new level of understanding.

It can feel like a big step to take the decision to talk to someone else about the issues in your relationship, especially as one of you might be resistant to attending counselling. However, rest assured; relationship counselling is not about who is right or wrong, it’s about open discussion and helping you both trying to achieve the outcome you want.

Counselling for Adults

Services are available to all adults who may be experiencing a wide range of difficulties

 Life’s events can be quite unpredictable. In a very short period of time, we can move from smooth sailing to complete turmoil. For some, coping with the stressors of everyday life can be overwhelming. None of us are immune from experiencing crisis or trauma in our lives.

Furthermore, sometimes seemingly insignificant events can build up to the point of feeling unmanageable.

 Most of us are not trained nor prepared to tackle the difficulties of life such as the death of a loved one, divorce, job loss, rejection, or family problems.

I feel more in control of my own peace and I now know how to stop allowing others to affect it. It was really useful and I felt comfortable in every session.

I was very nervous as I'd never had Hypnotherapy before, Tracey was very calming and spoke me through the steps for the sessions. She also helped me massively  with counselling for anxiety and I cannot thank her enough! Highly recommend!!!
